Twisted
Sister Collection
The Twisted
Sister Collection was inspired by two cues that
were made in 1998 called Othello and Desdemona.
Othello
was awarded the Peoples Choice Award at the 1998 Gallery
of American Cue Art show in New York City
The Twisted
Sister Collection represents an Inlay Technique known
as Intarsia. Intarsia is an age-old technique that
involves gluing together many pieces of material at
different angles to create a specific design. In the
Twisted Sister Collection over 800 individual pieces
in each cue are meticulously glued together at ever
changing angles and degrees thus creating a design
that twists around the cue. This technique is very
time and material consuming. From design to finish,
these three cues were in process for over nine months.

are listed below.

Embers
| Cue #1422 : $5,000.00
Ebony Forearm with eight Honduras
Rosewood Burl Points trimmed with Padauk and Mahogany
veneers. The Butt Sleeve is Ebony with an "Intarsia" design
that is shaped like a diamond on two sides of the
cue but cleverly bends around the cue on the other
two sides. This design is made of Honduras Rosewood
Burl, Padauk and Mahogany. The "Swirl" design
in the wrap area is made of Padauk, Mahogany, and
Ebony. Silver, Ebony, Padauk and Honduran Rosewood
Burl are used in the rings above and below the
wrap area. The Joint Collar and Butt Cap rings
are Triple Zig Zag rings made of Padauk and Mahogany.

Collection Cue | Cue#1423

The Forearm is made of Curly Vanuata wood
and has eight points with Ebony veneers. Four
are Curly Vanuata and four are Thuja Burl. An Ivory
Arrow is inlaid at the base of each Thuja Burl
point. The Curly Vanuata Butt Sleeve has a Thuja
Burl and Ebony "Barrel" design (with
Ivory Arrows shooting through it) built into it
using the "Intarsia" inlay technique.
The Triple Diamond ring design is Mahogany, Thuja
Burl and Ivory . It has an Ivory Joint Collar
and Butt Cap with Ivory Single Diamond rings.
The wrap is Lizard Skin, the ferrules are Ivory
and the tips are Mori. Owned by Collector Tony
Martino.

Viper| Cue#427

The Joint
Collar is Sterling Silver with 24kt. Gold plate.
The forearm is Thuja Burl with four Snakewood
points with Ebony and Mahogany veneers. 14kt.
Gold oval bezels surround Snakewood inlays. The
design is repeated in the Butt Sleeve. 14kt.
Gold rings trim the Mahogany and Snakewood large
Triple Diamond rings. The handle area is made
of Thuja Burl with Snakewood, Mahogany and Ebony "Intarsia" inlays.
There are four small 14kt. Gold inlays with Snakewood
centers in the middle of the handle area.
