Twisted Sister Collection

The Twisted Sister Collection was inspired by two cues that were made in 1998 called Othello and Desdemona.

Othello was awarded the Peoples Choice Award at the 1998 Gallery of American Cue Art show in New York City

The Twisted Sister Collection represents an Inlay Technique known as Intarsia. Intarsia is an age-old technique that involves gluing together many pieces of material at different angles to create a specific design. In the Twisted Sister Collection over 800 individual pieces in each cue are meticulously glued together at ever changing angles and degrees thus creating a design that twists around the cue. This technique is very time and material consuming. From design to finish, these three cues were in process for over nine months. The individual names and materials used in these cues are listed below.

Bertha : Birdseye Maple with Twisted Fantail made of Camatilla and Ivory Points. Cue Number 1268 Mary Jane : Ebony forearm, Honduras Rosewood Burl points, Twisted Fantail made of Honduras Rosewood Burl and Mahogany. Cue Number 1266 Liz : Ebony forearm, Honduras Rosewood Burl points, Twisted Fantail made of Honduras Rosewood burl and Mahogany, and Tiger-eye Stone. Cue Number 1267
